Here is a shred-tastic and beautiful Fender Japan ST71-140YM from circa 2002. It is a rare Japanese model seldom seen and never sold outside of the Japanese domestic market. Even in Japan it is revered and highly sought after. It features an alder body, Dimarzio YJM DP217(Neck), ST-Vintage(Middle), and Dimarzio YJM DP217 (Bridge) pickups, brass nut and an ultra fast, super comfortable scalloped C-shaped maple neck with Jumbo frets that pairs magically with the aged white finish. It is in excellent condition with only a few dings and moderate playwear and plays incredibly well. It has aging of the finish and some discoloration around some of the adges. (see pics) Yngwie Malmsteem practically invented neo-classical shred single-handedly and the guitar he has always done it with is a classic Stratocaster. For those who aspire to reach Malmsteen's fleet-fingered style, the Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster is modeled after the Swedish metal virtuoso's favorite Strat.

It has just been professionally set up and dialed in for optimal playability and tone. It has low action with no buzzing or dead spots and is an absolute joy to play. It has been deep cleaned and detailed. All guitars will arrive looking and playing great. The frets have been dressed/polished and the fingerboard was cleaned. (Unfinished Rosewood and Ebony boards get treated with Fret Doctor - a proprietary all natural oil that is the best on the market) It was professionally set up and has brand new strings, the action was adjusted, the intonation is spot on and it plays excellent. All the electronics work flawlessly.
