Up for sale at The Guitar Dude we have a beautiful shred master supreme, the legendary RG570! This one is in pretty excellent condition for a metal guitar, that has been rocked. These guitars really need no introduction to the fully baptized and initiated, and their legendary status among high-performance players is unrivaled. Like all the Ibanez guitars that are still made in Japan, the RG570 is brimming with classic yet contemporary looks, great tone, and top notch playability. The RG570 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2017. This model is a reissue of the original RG570, which was produced between 1989 and 2002. It was made in Japan by FujiGen.
Similarities to the classic RG570 include a basswood body, a tilt neck joint with a stamped metal plate, a rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers, an original Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines. Differences include a five-piece laminated maple and walnut neck (the original neck was one-piece maple) and the bridge and neck pickups which are Ibanez V7/V8 humbuckers direct mounted to the body (the original had Ibanez V1/V2 humbuckers mounted in pickup rings, with the switch to the V7/V8s happening in 1995).
Although the RG570 name was discontinued after 2002, the spirit of the model continued to live on in the various models in the RG1570 Prestige lineup including the RG1570Z which was discontinued after 2013. The lineage was revived again with the RG657K in 2016. There was also a limited-reissue of the RG570 as part of the Japan-only Genesis Collection in 2013, but other than that model, this is the closest model to the original RG570 that has been offered.
The classic RG550 is also being reissued alongside this model as well as a new dual humbucker, hardtail throwback model, the RG521. These models are marketed as the Genesis collection.
This RG570 was discontinued after 2018.
This particular guitar is in beautiful, yet player friendly condition with a few small dings, light scratches and a few small chips along the back edge. (see pics) This beauty been thoroughly drooled over by our in house staff. The guitar has excellent feel and response, plays ridiculously well everywhere on the neck, and is guaranteed to blow you away.

(Unfinished Rosewood and Ebony boards get treated with Fret Doctor - a proprietary all natural oil that is the best on the market) It has brand new strings, the action was adjusted, the intonation is spot on and it plays excellent. All the electronics work flawlessly.

We recognize and accept a 7 day return policy as per Reverb guidelines, BUT intentions of the return must be communicated in writing within 3 day of receiving the guitar as indicated by the tracking. Unless the guitar is not as described, ORIGINAL & RETURN SHIPPING COSTS WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. There is a 10% Re-stocking fee for ALL guitars that are returned for ANY reason outside of damage from shipping or it arrives significantly not as described. Please note that we record demo videos to make sure our guitars go out exactly as we describe them with zero issues. We understand that feeling comfortable is vital to the purchase of a guitar/bass so in any case, additional measurements or in hand descriptions are available prior to purchase/shipping.
