They say classic will never go out of style. Something as iconic as the Strat that has been rocked and recorded by pretty much all of the greats and will always be cool. This time tested recipe for great guitar tone has been fundamental to some of the most famous recording of all time. When you get a good one in your hands and you start to play it just feels right. Like Goldie Lox finding the right bed to sleep in or your favorite worn in jeans, this beauty you see is absolutely “just right”. It is almost 30 years old and ready to kick it for another 50 plus years at least! This super cool '57 Reissue Stratocaster with a beautiful and rare Sherwood Green thin Nitro finish is oozing with visual and sonic MOJO. None of the play-wear is fake, no relic work or "aging", (it doesn’t look like it was dragged behind a bus) all the little bumps, bruises and color fading have been earned the hard way. The Sunburst finish is vibrant underneath the pickguard and gives you an idea of how the nitro finish has slightly faded over time. As it continues to age gracefully, more weather checking and arm wear spots will start to show. This will let your guitar become even cooler looking over time. Overall this guitar is in very good cosmetic condition with nothing nasty that sticks out. It has a nicely worn in feel and will instantly allow you to rock out worry free about putting a little mark on it, and let you focus on rocking out. These mid 90’s reissues are considered some of the best, and with good reason, they rock significantly, with tone and feel so close to the originals it's uncanny. It has all the appointments, specs, and characteristics of a 1957 Stratocaster, including a thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish, 7.25 fingerboard radius, cloth wiring, staggered pole single-coil pickups and vintage style frets. The frets are original and have been dressed, leveled & crowned. they are worn but still play great and not in need of new frets quite yet. It has a beautifully grained maple neck and solid alder body. These guitars were made in limited batches, at the time and wasn't a standard production line model. Proudly made in the U.S.A. from top to bottom, this Strat rates off-the-charts. Everything looks feels very nice in your hands, & plays like butter, with all of the vintage 50's "mojo" locked in and aching to be unleashed. The pickups are awesome and have the power, clarity & attitude that defined the sound of rock n' roll. They are very warm and responsive with the perfect balance of clarity, chime and compressed, bell-like tone- just the recipe to pull off some killer blues leads. We recognize and accept a 7 day return policy as per Reverb guidelines, BUT intentions of the return must be communicated in writing within 3 day of receiving the guitar as indicated by the tracking. Unless the guitar is not as described, ORIGINAL & RETURN SHIPPING COSTS WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. There is a 10% Re-stocking fee for ALL guitars that are returned for ANY reason outside of damage from shipping or it arrives significantly not as described. Please note that we record demo videos to make sure our guitars go out exactly as we describe them with zero issues. We understand that feeling comfortable is vital to the purchase of a guitar/bass so in any case, additional measurements or in hand descriptions are available prior to purchase/shipping. Thats said, guitars travel a great distance some times and in transit things can happen. Also guitars acclimate to new environments and this can cause a need for a new set up or minor adjustment.
