Slip into your parachute pants and grab your copy of Diver Down, the 80s are back in town and raring to hit the L.A. strip with a hearty, "Hey Bud, let's party!".
The Kramer Striker 100ST is a Korean made version of the Baretta model, with a single angled humbucking pickup at the bridge and a single volume control. Introduced in 1984 initially the 100ST had a traditional style tremolo but this was almost immediately changed to a Floyd Rose tremolo without fine tuners and no locking nut. In 1987 the bridge was changed to a Floyd Rose II unit with fine tuners, recessed cavity and a locking nut, the headstock shape changed and the body became more narrow waisted and less strat-like.
In 1988 this model name was changed to the ST100 and the hardware color became black. At this time the headstock shape also changed to a pointed design and was black-faced with a large "KRAMER" logo. In 1989 the Kramer ST100 was discontinued.
Here's an opportunity to own a killer 80s axe that is designed to be played totally unchained. The combination of simplified electronics and a totally radical Strat-style body design assign this guitar to furious, hard rocking mayhem status. The guitar has a few scratches and couple of paint chips but nothing to stop the intense rock vibe this Cali-Mojo hot rod exudes and drips. Gas money and 12 pack not included.
It has just been professionally set up and dialed in for optimal playability and tone. It has low action with no buzzing or dead spots and is an absolute joy to play. It has been deep cleaned and detailed. All guitars will arrive looking and playing great. The frets have been dressed/polished and the fingerboard was cleaned. (Unfinished Rosewood and Ebony boards get treated with Fret Doctor - a proprietary all natural oil that is the best on the market) It was professionally set up and has brand new strings, the action was adjusted, the intonation is spot on and it plays excellent. All the electronics work flawlessly.
