Here's a killer Telecaster that has tons of 70s tone that'll give you and your loyal fans a juicy aural treat and let it all hang out. This 28 year old guitar was made at the famous Fuji-Gen plant and starts the proceedings with a resonant and substantial three-piece ash body finished in a gloss natural coat that lets every deep hued pattern in the rich grain shine through. It has a medium to chunky maple neck with an oval shape/comfy C profile. When it comes to playability this piece sets up well and plays smoothly and perfectly. The pickups are sweet sounding, Japanese made and exhibit sweet bark and substantial bite. The hardware is in keeping with the traditional and vintage vibe with a two string per saddle steel barreled bridge and Gotoh tuning machines. Other features include one volume, one tone and a three-way selector switch and vintage headstock logo. Cosmetically the guitar has tons of mojo with some small nicks and dings, and a chip to the finish on the edge of the body. (see pics) It has a lot of corrosion/some rust on the bridge that add to the vintage vibe and looks cool. When this guitar arrived to me from Japan, the fretboard had been played tremendously and had wear spots dug into the wood. We filled them in nicely with nitro lacquer so that it feels better to the touch and to protect the wood. It will continue to age gracefully with time. This is an older guitar, but continues to be in great vintage shape! A perfect player Tele for the gigging musician or studio cat, this instrument delivers true Fender tone and fine playability with a 70s vibe that will take you back to a time when rock was young, available only at - The Guitar Dude.

All the electronics work flawlessly.
