Get ready to meet the perfect Strat... I call it the Red Rocket as an homage to the original pre CBS era Strat which was also coinciding with the beginning of the space age. Well let me tell you, this Strat is OUT of THIS WORLD. It oozes perfect melodic creamy tone and plays as good as any guitar we have had come this way. To top it off it is in exceptional, near mint condition. This first year (1982) JV reissue will be sure to become your favorite axe and it is battle ready for instant gratification.

Some guitars look cool but just don't play or sound the part. This Strat not only oozes with visual authentic vintage mojo, but it musically has the perfect combination of ultra smooth playability and buttery creamy tone. It is a recording studio worthy tone monster and beautiful guitar all around. This Candy Apple Red Fender '57 Stratocaster Vintage Reissue is absolutely stunning thanks to sweet finish, but more importantly it has the sound that captures all the magic that made these guitars truly iconic over 69 years ago. This rocker is from the famed JV Japanese Vintage Series, which only lasted only from 1982 to 1984, but left a mark and made a stamp in the history books with a true attempt at a reissue of a classic pre-CBS Fender. The quality and craftsmanship of these guitars and the whole run in general is nothing short of LEGENDARY. The FujiGen factory that produced these exceptionally fine guitars were making all the classic at a level and quality that not only met but easily exceeded nothing being produced by their American counterparts. Truly Custom Shop quality that was a true testament to the ability and knowledge of the expert luthiers who worked for them at the time. Overall this guitar is as much the player as she is the looker. And as beautiful as she is and believe me she is absolutely gorgeous, her real beauty lyes with her amazing true vintage tone and rock star worthy playability. She has just been professionally set up and dialed in for optimal sound and playability and she will definitely not disappoint even the finickiest of Fender enthusiasts. It is loaded with Mojo and gives off a very cool vibe and features all the traditional Fender specs from '57, which include a 7 1/4" fretboard radius, a 25 1/2" scale, and a 1 11/16" nut width. The headstock has the correct '50s small shape, it has the truss rod adjustment at the heel, and is paired with Kluson-style tuners. The almost monochromatic color scheme is a perfect fit for this lightweight Strat that comes in at 7 pounds and 13 ounces. This will allow any rocker, whether on a stage or at home, to play comfortably through the night. It has a slender C shaped maple neck that is slender at the nut, but gets chunkier as you travel down the maple fretboard. For a guitar that is close to 43 years old, she is in very good to excellent cosmetic condition. Everything is all original with untouched solder joints featuring US made Vintage Style staggered pole pickups, the exact same being used on the American Vintage Reissues produced at the Fullerton Factory. Cosmetically this guitar is in very good condition for her age considering she has been well played for nearly 43 years. It has some natural play-wear, which includes a few small dings, light surface scratches and some wear on the fret-board. (please see pictures) all of which just add to the overall authentic vintage player appeal. Overall, these battle scars give this guitar a light natural relic feel and add to the vibe of this guitar. This is an awesome example of the quality and craftsmanship that the luthiers of the FugiGen factory are famous for... Don't pass on the opportunity to take this vintage Fender JV home and make it your favorite player.
